Divine Heritage
Born into a lineage of Vedic scholars
Born into a revered family of Vedic scholars and temple priests, my spiritual journey was blessed from birth. My father, Sri Markandeya Sharma, himself a distinguished Vedic scholar and archaka (Chief Priest, Mirjalguda Hanuman Temple), instilled in me the profound importance of dharma, devotion, and selfless service to the divine.
My mother, Srimati Parvathi Devi, a homemaker of deep devotion and spiritual wisdom, nurtured my soul with bhakti and taught me that true worship begins with purity of heart. Her daily prayers and devotional songs created the foundation of my spiritual consciousness. Her father, Sri Venkatramaya, served as Pradhana Archaka at Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Temple from 1947 to 1983, carrying forward a proud lineage of sacred service.
My spiritual transformation truly began under the divine guidance of my revered guru, Sri Sri Venkat Raman Ganapati Guruji, a realized master and guardian of ancient Vedic wisdom.
Under his tutelage, I learned that a true priest is not merely a performer of ceremonies, but a living conduit of divine grace. His teachings emphasized complete surrender and devotion in every ritual.
I was also blessed to learn under my second guruji, VSP Tenneti, and received the divine grace of Pushpagiri Peetadishwarulu Sri Sri Sri Abhinaovodanda Vidya Shankar Bharathi Swamy.

In January 1990, my formal Vedic journey was set in motion under the guidance of Sri Venkata Raman Ganapati Garu through the study of Vaidika Smartha Agamamu and Smartha Puja Vidhanamu. Through the Endowments Department, I undertook the Archaka Pravesha examinations — clearing all three Vara-Pravara examinations in First Class.
During this sacred period, I also undertook dedicated Suryopasana and the Upasana of Mahavidya Dhana Dhavala Durga Devi, Dakshina Kaali, Mathangi, and Gopamudra Devi — deepening my devotional practice and connection to the divine Mother.
